From July 5 to 11, the "Aviators" technology camp took place at the "MEET" Educational Center in Gyumri. Forty teenagers participated from 10 communities across all of Armenia's regions.
The camp's goal was to form teams in Armenia's communities that build and operate flying devices. At the camp, the teenagers had not only professional courses and seminars, but also gained strong survival and teamwork skills. They met with several representatives from the technological sector.
After seven days, all participants were able to independently build and operate flying devices. At the end of the camp, certification took place, during which the teams' work and the children's individual flights were evaluated comparatively with the SU-27 model. At the end of certification, all teams received flying-device gift packages to encourage building other models in their communities in the future.
